The person behind the promise

Experience across industries.
A focus on people.
Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, to Chinese immigrants from Taishan, Guangdong, Cyman brings a deeply human perspective to every relationship. At the University of Washington, he studied American Ethnic Studies and Economics—pairing an understanding of people and culture with a sharp eye for markets and value.
His two-decade career spans real estate, mortgage lending, investment banking, small business, hospitality, and artificial intelligence. Through every chapter runs one principle: understand what people truly need, help them succeed first, and everything else follows.
“A good deal, like a good meal, is an act of attention—knowing what someone needs before they ask.”

A practical guide to cooperative ownership, community life, and becoming a Silver Glen member.
Read the full FAQ01What does cooperative ownership mean?
Rather than buying an individual condominium, you purchase a membership share in Silver Glen. That share makes you a co-owner of the four-acre property and its amenities while granting you the exclusive right to occupy your private residence.
02Do members have a voice in the community?
Yes. Each residence has one vote. Members elect the seven-person Board of Directors, serve on committees, and help shape the decisions and daily life of the cooperative.
03What is the application process?
Prospective residents first tour Silver Glen and submit an application. The process includes interviews with the Marketing Committee and resident-led Board, followed by a financial review and standard credit and criminal background checks.
04What amenities are available?
Members enjoy a Grand Dining Suite, heated indoor saline pool and jacuzzi, fitness center, landscaped gardens, walking paths, gathering spaces, secure underground parking, and additional resident and guest parking.
05How does community dining work?
The dining room welcomes members, family, and friends five evenings a week. Dinner begins at 5:00 pm, and a modest per-meal fee applies.
06What is included in a residence?
Residences are prepared with fresh paint and carpeting. Standard features include a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, furnace, and dedicated storage locker. Residents provide their own washer and dryer, and many homes include a gas fireplace.
07Can members renovate their residence?
Yes. Members may personalize their homes, with remodeling plans reviewed and approved by the Board to protect building integrity and community standards.
08What is an MTV?
MTV (Membership Transfer Value) is the maximum, pre-determined resale price.
